ケント大学留学生奨学金

ケント大学の提供する奨学金についての情報です。

You may be aware that each year the International Office at Kent offers a number of Overseas Scholarships to international students with strong Academic Merit.

These scholarships are open to all new full-time applicants (undergraduate or taught postgraduate) assessed as paying fees at the overseas rate from any country. 

I am writing to confirm the arrangements for this year’s intake:

1. As last year the value of the scholarships will be £5000
2. The scholarships are primarily intended for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students; however the Scholarships Panel will consider applications from outstanding postgraduate research applicants. Awards for postgraduate research students will only be for one year in the first instance with no guarantee of further funding.
3. We expect to fund approximately 20 awards for postgraduate taught students and 10 undergraduate awards
4. In the case of undergraduate award holders funding will be offered for the full duration of their course, subject to satisfactory attendance and performance
5. Decisions on Overseas Scholarships will again be made by a Scholarships Panel consisting of two representatives of academic departments, the Acting Director and the Acting Associate Director of the International Office

At this time I would ask that you highlight the scholarships to the students you have and are currently counselling. We will also email all relevant applicants highlighting the availability of the awards. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2010 by which time an applicant must have accepted a place on a degree programme here.

We expect the majority of applications to be made electronically through the website, although applicants may, if they wish, submit an application to the International Office either via post or email at the following address;
